Emergency exit device:
It is a mechanism for use where panic situations are not foreseen, and consisting of a bolt head which engage with a keeper in the surrounding door frame for securing a door when closed.
The head can be released by the lever handle or the push pad positioned on the inside of the door when it is moved in a downward direction or in the direction of exit.
Panic exit device:
It is a mechanism consisting of a bolt head which engage with a keeper in the surrounding door frame or floor for securing a door when closed.
The bolt heads can be released by the bar positioned horizontally across the inside of the door when it is moved in the direction of travel.
Outside access device:
It is a mechanism for opening a panic exit device from the outside and it is operated by a knob or lever.
When the key is turned one way, the operating handle is disengaged from the access mechanism, thereby preventing access while turning it the other way, the operating handle is engaged with the access mechanism and allows operation of the panic device from the outside.
